2 Weather expert blogs from WeatherUnderground.com

Steve Gregory and Jeff Masters have continuously updated blogs on weatherunderground.com right now discussing the development, progress and likely track of Rita.
One thing to bear in mind is that the "official" published track predictions for Rita from the NOAA web site are actually a consensus of around 12-15 different storm track predictions from various academic and scientific computer models. Some of the models are actually predicting that Rita will move inland, then stall and either remain in one location or drift Southwest again. If either of those two latter scenarios comes to pass, then parts of South and East Texas could suffer catastrophic flooding as 15-20 inches of rain drops from a weakening Rita.
